Heights are written with a comma — 1,05 m, not 1.05m — and several parks measure with shoes on at the entrance.

French parks track the UK closely on what a small child can ride, with 90cm the commonest minimum and a large group of rides sitting between 90cm and 105cm. At 105cm a child clears most of the family line-up at a typical French park, with the bigger coasters still ahead at 120cm and 140cm.

Small children often get in free

Free admission below one metre is much more common in France than in the UK, and several parks in this collection advertise it.
