How to read the planner's results
It counts what a child can board, not what looks fun
Enter a height and the planner counts every ride at a park whose minimum that child clears, honouring maximum heights as well. It uses the lower of the two thresholds where a park allows a shorter child to ride with an adult, so the totals assume a grown-up is willing to ride along. If you are visiting without a second adult, read the park page's solo column instead.
Rides with no published height are left out
Where a park does not publish a ride's requirement, we mark it rather than guessing, and the planner excludes it from the count. A park's total may therefore be slightly conservative — those rides show on the park page with an amber badge, and they are usually worth a question at guest services when you arrive.
Compare parks, then read the park page
The planner is for narrowing a shortlist: it answers which of several parks gives your family the most to do at their heights. Once you have picked one, the park's own page is where the detail lives — which specific rides open up, which need an adult, and when we last checked the park's published information.
Measure before you rely on it
Measure in the shoes they'll wear on the day, heels to a wall, with something flat on the head: parks usually measure with shoes on. If a child is within about 2cm of a threshold, run the planner at the lower figure, because the decision at the gate is the park's.
