GreenWood Family Park is an eco-friendly family adventure park near Y Felinheli in Gwynedd, on the edge of Snowdonia (Eryri) in North Wales. With over 20 outdoor and indoor attractions powered by people, gravity and the sun, it is built around younger families — the great majority of its rides and activities carry no height restriction at all.

Park Highlights

Green Dragon Roller Coaster - The world's only people-powered roller coaster. A 20-person, five-car train climbs by people power and then travels a 250-metre track with a 360-degree horizontal loop round the hill and through the woods. Minimum 100cm; children between 100cm and 120cm must be accompanied by an adult.

Solar Splash - The UK's first solar-powered ride. From a 12-metre tower reached by 64 steps, choose two ~60-metre wave chutes or a 91-metre spiral tube, with far-reaching views across Snowdonia. Minimum height 100cm; 100-125cm must ride with an adult (16+).

Forest Glider - Glide down a 75-metre run in individual rubber rings. Minimum height 100cm.
