We checked every ride at all 38 UK theme parks in our database and counted how many are accessible to children under 100cm. The difference between parks is enormous — from 33 rides down to just 6.

Here's the full list, ranked from most to least accessible.

Tier 1: Outstanding (20+ rides under 100cm)

These parks offer a genuinely full day for a child under 100cm. No compromises.

Lightwater Valley tops the list with 33 rides — 24 with no restriction at all. It's specifically designed for under-12s, and it shows.

Paultons Park is close behind with 30 rides, including 23 with zero restriction. Home to Peppa Pig World, it's the most visited park on this list for good reason.

Crealy and Twinlakes are both underrated picks — large ride counts, lower entry prices, and fewer crowds than the big-name parks.

Tier 2: Very Good (14-20 rides under 100cm)

A strong day out with plenty of options, though your child won't access everything.

Tier 3: Decent (10-13 rides under 100cm)

Enough for a half-day or a shorter visit. Best combined with other activities.

Tier 4: Limited (6-9 rides under 100cm)

These parks are designed for older children and teenagers. Under 100cm is a tough day out unless you combine with other attractions (zoo, beach, etc.).

Surprises in the Data

Lightwater Valley beats Paultons Park. Most parents assume Paultons is the UK's best park for toddlers. It's close, but Lightwater Valley has 3 more rides accessible under 100cm (33 vs 30) and an even higher no-restriction count (24 vs 23).

LEGOLAND is only 5th. With 21 rides under 100cm, LEGOLAND is strong but not dominant. However, it has the biggest 100cm milestone jump in the UK — 11 new rides unlock at 100cm, more than any other park. Read our 100cm milestone guide →

Chessington is near the bottom. Despite being one of the UK's biggest parks, Chessington only has 7 rides for under-100cm visitors. The zoo and SEA LIFE centre save the day — but for rides alone, it's a poor choice at this height.

The Gulliver's parks vary wildly. Gulliver's Valley has 19 rides under 100cm. Gulliver's Land has 9. Same brand, very different experiences for young children.

What Changes at 100cm?

100cm is the single biggest height unlock in UK parks. At many of these parks, the ride count jumps dramatically. The biggest gainers:

1. LEGOLAND Windsor: +11 rides (10 → 21)
2. Lightwater Valley: +9 rides (24 → 33)
3. Crealy: +8 rides (18 → 26)
4. Chessington: +7 rides (0 → 7)
