Complete Park Guide

Curry's Fun Park is the seafront amusement park in Portrush, on the Causeway Coast of Co. Antrim - the first Northern Ireland park in our guide. It was Barry's Amusements until 2022, when the Curry family, who also run Curry's Fun Park in Salthill, Galway, took it over. Entry is free and rides are paid for with tokens.

The park shares one website with Salthill, and that site does not say which ride is where. This guide lists only the rides at Portrush. Where a Portrush ride appears on the shared site we use its published height; for the others the park publishes no height, so they are marked "height not listed" - check the sign at each ride.

Park Highlights

Spinning Coaster - opened in May 2026: a Zamperla spinning coaster whose four-person cars turn freely through tight bends and drops. Height not listed.

Freefall and Beast - the park's biggest thrills: a drop ride (new for 2026) and a giant swinging, spinning frisbee ride. Heights not listed.

Dodgems - bumper cars styled as New York yellow taxis, 1.3m to drive.

Family Rides

4 rides are open to all heights: the Crazy Caterpillar kiddie coaster, the Ghost Train, the Waltzer and the Carousel (on the Waltzer and Carousel, young children must ride with an adult). The Cyclone, Crazy Frog, Helter Skelter and the Jumping Astro junior drop tower are also family favourites, but the park does not publish their heights.
