Aquarama

Each attraction page has an "Altura mínima" (minimum height) field and, for most slides, a "Peso máximo" (maximum weight) field. The park rules add that every attraction has minimum height requirements and other conditions, shown on the signs at each one. The operator's FAQ says there are "restricciones de altura y peso en algunas atracciones" (height and weight restrictions on some attractions), so check each ride below, including those with no minimum height. Two things to know before you go: Kraken's slides and zip line have different heights, and Enrollados' two slides have different weight limits.

• 5 attractions have no minimum height: Chiquilandia, Cubos Locos, Los Lagos, Piscina de Olas and Minidunas. The operator lists the first four as for the youngest children or the whole family. Minidunas lists only a maximum height of 110 cm.
• 6 attractions are open to children under 110 cm: those five plus Cala Pirata, which lists 90 cm and always with an adult.
• 14 attractions have a minimum of 110 cm or less. The 110 cm attractions are Black Hole, Boa, Dunas Surf, Enrollados (Tornado and Bucle), the Kraken slides, Río Aventura and Toboganes de suelo.
• 16 attractions have a minimum below 130 cm, adding El Salto del diablo and Remolino at 120 cm.
• 130 cm and over: Kamikazes, Twin twister, WOW and the Kraken zip line need 130 cm, and Space Shot needs 132 cm.

Weight limits are listed on the attraction pages. El Salto del diablo is 120 kg, Boa, Dunas Surf, Río Aventura, Twin twister, WOW and the Bucle slide of Enrollados are 130 kg, and the Tornado slide of Enrollados is 80 kg. Black Hole and Remolino list "hasta 179 kg en conjunto", a combined figure for everyone on the ride. Río Aventura is ridden on single or double floats, and the operator does not say how its 130 kg applies to a double float. Kamikazes, both Kraken entries, Space Shot and Toboganes de suelo list no weight.

Separately, the park rules say that children under 12 must enter the park and stay with an adult, unless an adult signs an authorisation at the customer service office.

No Height Restriction (5 Attractions)

Chiquilandia is a water play area for the youngest children, with gentle jets they can set off, and the operator lists its height field as "Para los más pequeñines" (for the very little ones). Cubos Locos is a water feature where a bucket of water can tip over visitors, Los Lagos is a relaxation area of lakes and lagoons, and Piscina de Olas is a freshwater wave pool; the operator lists all three as "Para toda la familia" (for the whole family). Minidunas, the racing slides for the smallest children, is listed as "estatura máxima: 1,10 m", so it has a 110 cm maximum and no minimum.

90 to 99 cm

Cala Pirata is a pirate-cove play area for young children, listed as "hasta 8 años", an age limit. The operator's text reads "Estatura mínima en piscina 0,90 m. (Siempre acompañados de un adulto)", a 90 cm minimum for the pool, always with an adult. No height to enter without an adult is listed.

110 to 119 cm

Black Hole is a dark tube slide that can be ridden alone or with company, and Boa is a dark slide through a giant reptile. Dunas Surf has six racing slides into the pool. Enrollados is two crossing slides, Tornado and Bucle, listed separately for their weight limits. Río Aventura is a winding lazy river on single or double floats. Toboganes de suelo is three gentle-slope slides: Túnel, Tifón and Anguila. The four Kraken slides are also 110 cm; the Kraken zip line is listed separately at 130 cm.

120 to 129 cm

El Salto del diablo is a kamikaze slide with a 30 m drop and lists 120 cm and a 120 kg maximum weight. Remolino is a giant funnel slide ridden on a float, which can be a double float, also at 120 cm.

130 to 139 cm

Kamikazes (Big Slide and La Lombriz) are two giant steep slides at 130 cm. Twin twister, the coloured slides, and WOW, a tube slide 210 m long, are also 130 cm and list a 130 kg maximum weight. Space Shot, the launch tower, lists 132 cm.

• Up to 89 cm: 5 attractions are open, those with no minimum height. Minidunas is for children up to 110 cm.
• 90 to 109 cm: 6 attractions are open, adding Cala Pirata, always with an adult.
• At 110 cm: 14 attractions are open, adding the attractions that list 110 cm. Minidunas closes above 110 cm.
• 120 to 129 cm: adds El Salto del diablo and Remolino.
• 130 to 131 cm: adds Kamikazes, Twin twister, WOW and the Kraken zip line. Space Shot opens at 132 cm.

Check the weight limit too, especially at El Salto del diablo (120 kg) and Tornado at Enrollados (80 kg).

Aquarama sets the ticket type by height, not age, measured without shoes. The general ticket is for people over 1.31 m, the reduced ticket for 1.11 to 1.30 m, and children up to 1.10 m enter free (they still need a ticket, available online or at the box office). At the box office the all-day "Entrada para hoy" ticket is listed from €31.95 for the general ticket and from €25.95 for the reduced one; the price changes through the season. Tickets bought online before the day of the visit are cheaper, and the website shows the exact amount for each date. The all-day ticket is valid 11:00 to 19:00 and the afternoon ticket 15:00 to 19:00. Parking is free.

Aquarama is on Ctra. Nacional 340, Km 986,8, 12560 Benicàssim (Castellón). The operator gives the AP-7 exits 45 (Oropesa) and 46 (Castellón Norte), and says the free car park has more than 2,000 spaces. By public transport, the operator lists the train to Benicàssim station or the Castellón – Benicàssim – Por Las Villas bus, getting off at the last stop in town, "Carmelitano nº 26".

Aquarama is a seasonal park. On opening days it is open 11:00 to 19:00 and the box office is open from 10:00 to 18:00. The opening days are listed on the website. You can leave and come back after 12:00 by having your ticket stamped, up to three exits per ticket per day.

For families at Aquarama, the useful numbers are 110 cm for most of the family slides, 120 cm for El Salto del diablo and Remolino, 130 cm for Kamikazes, Twin twister and WOW, and 132 cm for Space Shot. Chiquilandia, Cubos Locos, Los Lagos and Piscina de Olas need no minimum height, and Cala Pirata is open from 90 cm with an adult. The operator also publishes weight limits for most of its slides, so confirm the figures on the signs before you queue.
