Terra Mítica is a theme park in Benidorm on the Costa Blanca, organised in themed areas: Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Islands and Iberia. This guide covers its 22 attractions, with the height rule the operator publishes for each. Aqualandia, the separate water park, is not included.
Height Restrictions Overview
Each attraction page on the official site lists an "Altura mín" (minimum height) and, for some rides, an "Altura mín. acompañado" (minimum height when accompanied). Where the accompanied line reads "menor" (under) the ride's own minimum, children below that height can ride with an adult. For example, Cataratas del Nilo lists 1.20 m, or 0.92 m when accompanied. The children's rides Akuatiti, Ayquesustus and Jabato also list a maximum height of 1.40 m, and Titánide, Tornado and Inferno list a maximum of 1.95 m. The pages also list a recommended minimum age, noted below. Cuca Park is the one entry with no figures: the operator says to check the limits at each ride in the zone, so it is shown as height not listed.
- 2 attractions have no minimum height when an adult comes along: Puerto de Alejandría (under 92 cm) and Laberinto del Minotauro (under 110 cm).
- 11 attractions are open to children under 110 cm.
- 12 attractions are open to children under 120 cm.
- 17 attractions are open to children under 130 cm.
- 19 attractions are open to children under 140 cm.
- 2 attractions have a 140 cm minimum with no adult option: Synkope and Inferno.
The park's rules page adds that children under 11 must enter the park with an adult. It lists no height table of its own and refers visitors to the restrictions sign at the entrance to each ride.
Height Categories Explained
No Height Restriction (2 Attractions)
Puerto de Alejandría is a panoramic boat trip: alone from 92 cm, and children under 92 cm ride with an adult (recommended minimum age 2). Laberinto del Minotauro is a laser-gun maze: alone from 110 cm, and children under 110 cm go with an adult (recommended minimum age 4).
90 to 99 cm
These rides open at 92 cm. Cataratas del Nilo and La Furia de Tritón are water rides open from 92 cm with an adult and from 120 cm alone (recommended minimum age 6). Alucinakis, a children's train coaster, is open from 92 cm with an adult and from 110 cm alone (recommended minimum age 5). Akuatiti and Jabato list 92 cm with a 140 cm maximum, and Ayquesustus lists 92 cm both alone and accompanied with the same maximum. Infinnito and Rotundus list 92 cm both alone and accompanied, with no maximum, and Mithos lists 92 cm. The page for each ride lists a recommended minimum age: 3 for Akuatiti, Rotundus and Mithos, 4 for Jabato, 5 for Ayquesustus and 6 for Infinnito.
110 to 119 cm
Templo de Kinetos, the 5D cinema, lists 110 cm (recommended minimum age 6). The page notes that the children's room has a 92 cm minimum.
120 to 129 cm
Los Ícaros (swings), Arietes (bumper cars), La Cólera de Akiles and Rápidos de Argos each list 120 cm with no adult option; the recommended minimum age is 6 for Los Ícaros and Arietes, 14 for La Cólera de Akiles, and none is listed for Rápidos de Argos. Tornado is open from 120 cm with an adult and from 130 cm alone, up to 195 cm (recommended minimum age 12).
130 to 139 cm
Titánide lists 130 cm with a 195 cm maximum (recommended minimum age 14). El Vuelo del Fénix lists 130 cm (recommended minimum age 10).
140 cm and Over
Synkope lists 140 cm (recommended minimum age 10). Inferno lists 140 cm with a 195 cm maximum (recommended minimum age 14). Neither has an adult option.
Height Not Listed
Cuca Park, the children's zone, shows "Consultar en cada atracción" for both its minimum and maximum height, with a recommended minimum age of 4. The operator publishes no figures for its individual rides, so it is not counted in any height group above.
Tips for Visiting with Different Heights
- Under 92 cm: 2 attractions are open with an adult: Puerto de Alejandría and Laberinto del Minotauro.
- 92 to 109 cm: 11 attractions are open. This adds Cataratas del Nilo, La Furia de Tritón and Alucinakis with an adult, and Akuatiti, Infinnito, Ayquesustus, Rotundus, Mithos and Jabato. Templo de Kinetos opens its children's room to children from 92 cm, while the ride itself starts at 110 cm.
- 110 to 119 cm: 12 attractions are open, adding Templo de Kinetos. From 110 cm Laberinto del Minotauro and Alucinakis no longer need an adult.
- 120 to 129 cm: 17 attractions are open, adding Los Ícaros, Arietes, La Cólera de Akiles, Rápidos de Argos and Tornado with an adult. From 120 cm Cataratas del Nilo and La Furia de Tritón no longer need an adult.
- 130 to 139 cm: 19 attractions are open, adding Titánide and El Vuelo del Fénix. Tornado can be ridden without an adult from 130 cm.
- 140 cm and over: Synkope and Inferno open at 140 cm. Akuatiti, Ayquesustus and Jabato list a 140 cm maximum.
Titánide, Tornado and Inferno list a 195 cm maximum.
Ticket Pricing
The official prices page lists a 1-day ticket online from €35 for an adult and from €30 for Junior/Senior in low season, and from €43 and €37 in high season. At the box office the same tickets are €41 and €35 in low season and €49 and €42 in high season. Adult covers ages 13 to 64; Junior/Senior covers ages 4 to 12 and 65 and over, so price depends on age rather than height. Children aged 0 to 3 enter free with an adult. Afternoon tickets, valid from 15:00, and group tickets are also sold. Parking at the box office is listed at €10 for a car, €13 covered, €10 for a motorhome, €5 for a motorbike and free for buses.
Getting There
Terra Mítica is at Partida del Moralet, s/n, 03502 Benidorm (Alicante). The operator lists the A-7 motorway, which has a direct exit for the park, and the N-332, N-340 and N-330 roads. It also points visitors to the Tram and to buses from Benidorm, and lists Alicante airport (El Altet) 55 km away and Valencia airport 140 km away. The park phone is +34 965 004 300.
Opening Hours
The official calendar shows the park open on selected dates, with opening and closing times that change from day to day, and some days closed. Special evening openings are listed for events such as Halloween. Check the calendar for the day you plan to visit.

For families, the numbers that matter at Terra Mítica are the adult-accompanied minimums: 11 attractions are open to children under 110 cm, most of them at 92 cm, and Cataratas del Nilo, La Furia de Tritón and Alucinakis drop to 92 cm when an adult rides along.
