Hidropark Alcúdia is a water park in Port d'Alcúdia, on the north coast of Mallorca. This guide covers its 11 attractions, with the height, depth and companion rule the operator publishes for each. Each attraction has its own page on the park's website with a short row of icons, and a general rules sheet adds that the minimum height of some attractions is 1.20 m.
Height Restrictions Overview
Almost every attraction at Hidropark lists the same figure: a minimum height of 120 cm. Three things to know before you go: the operator lists a 120 cm minimum on some children's areas too, the Kids Zone is the only attraction with a maximum height, and the Wave Pool lists a depth but no height rule.
- 1 attraction has no minimum height: Kids Zone, which the operator lists with a maximum height of 120 cm instead.
- 1 attraction is open to children under 120 cm: the Kids Zone.
- 10 attractions are open at 120 cm: the Kids Zone, the slides (Sliderang, Slide Race, Spiral, Soft Track, Line & Line and Kamikaze) and the areas that list a 120 cm minimum (Children's World, Minipark and Chill & Play).
- The Wave Pool lists a maximum depth of 180 cm and no height rule, so its height requirement is shown as not listed.
The operator's rules sheet says only one person is allowed on each water slide, and that the minimum height of some attractions is 1.20 m (ask at the ticket office). The Sliderang is the exception to the one-person rule: it uses a double mat for two people. The operator lists children's areas as "Niños acompañados" (children accompanied), and the park's FAQ says children must always be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them.
Height Categories Explained
No Height Restriction (1 Attraction)
Kids Zone is a spray area with arches, jets, animal figures and slides ridden on a mat. The operator lists only a maximum height of 120 cm, "Niños acompañados" and no floats. It publishes no minimum height, so children can use it from any height up to 120 cm.
120 to 129 cm
Sliderang, the large U-shaped slide, is ridden on a double mat for two people. Slide Race has six slides with gentle slopes, Spiral is an enclosed slide with up to five curves, Soft Track has seven lanes on an extra-soft surface, Line & Line has two slides with a 360-degree curve, and Kamikaze is described by the operator as the highest, fastest and steepest slides in the park. All of them list a minimum height of 120 cm and a pool depth of 140 cm at the end; Spiral and Kamikaze also list no floats or armbands.
Children's World (a giant octopus and three small slides), Minipark (an island with stairs, jets and a slide) and Chill & Play (a large pool with water games for younger children) each list "Altura mínima 120 cm" and "Niños acompañados" on their pages. That is the same tile the operator uses for its larger slides, so the figure is shown as published; check the signs at each area if you are planning around a younger child.
Height Not Listed
The Wave Pool is a large wave pool with a maximum depth of 180 cm and no floats. Its page lists no height rule. The operator's timetable says wave sessions are announced over the park speakers.
Tips for Visiting with Different Heights
- Under 120 cm: 1 attraction is listed as open, the Kids Zone. The Wave Pool is not counted because it lists no height rule.
- At exactly 120 cm: 10 attractions are open: the Kids Zone, the slides and the areas with a 120 cm minimum.
- 121 cm and over: the slides and the areas with a 120 cm minimum are open. The Kids Zone is closed above its 120 cm maximum.
The slides list no minimum age. The operator's rules ask visitors to follow the lifeguards' instructions, and the park's FAQ says the slides each have their own minimum and maximum height rule.
Ticket Pricing
The ticket-office price on the park's timetable and prices page is €33.95 for adults (11 to 60 years) and €25.95 for children (3 to 10 years) and seniors (over 60); children aged 0 to 2 enter free. Online-only tickets are listed slightly lower, at €31.95 for adults and €24.95 for children and seniors. Residents of Mallorca have separate rates, and season passes and a Fast Pass are sold. Parking inside the grounds costs €5 per vehicle in July and August, according to the FAQ. Sun loungers and lockers are paid extras.
Getting There
Hidropark Alcúdia is on Avda. de Inglaterra, s/n, 07400 Port d'Alcúdia, Mallorca, in the north of the island. The park has its own car park, and the operator's map shows the entrance, parking and the layout of the attractions.
Opening Hours
Hidropark is seasonal, open from April to the end of October. The operator's schedule is 11:00 to 17:00 in April, May, September and October, 10:00 to 17:00 in June, and 10:00 to 18:00 in July and August. Attractions stop 15 minutes before the park closes, and the operator can change dates and hours at any time, so check the park's website or social media before you go.
Final Thoughts
For families at Hidropark Alcúdia, the number to remember is 120 cm: the operator lists it as the minimum for all the slides and for Children's World, Minipark and Chill & Play. Kids Zone is the area for children under 120 cm, and the Wave Pool lists a depth but no height rule. Because the children's areas list the same 120 cm tile as the slides, confirm the figure on the signs at each area before you plan your day around it.
