Aqualand El Arenal is a water park in El Arenal, on the bay of Palma in Mallorca. This guide covers its 17 attractions, with the height and weight rule the operator publishes for each. The operator groups them into Adrenaline Fun, Family Fun, Chill Out & Play and Kidzworld.
Height Restrictions Overview
Each attraction page shows its height rule and its maximum weight. The picture is simple: the main slides need 120 cm. Crazy Race and Misol-ha are slides with no height rule, and so are the wave pool, the lazy river and the children's areas. The park's rules page also has a chart, which gives the Kidzworld areas a maximum height of 1,2 m (120 cm) and splits Anaconda into a big slide (minimum 1,2 m) and a small slide with no height minimum.
- 8 attractions can be used at any height: Crazy Race, Misol-ha, Surf Beach, Lakchaac, Dragoland, MiniPark, Polynesia and the small Anaconda slide. The attraction pages list each of them as "sin restricción de altura" (no height restriction), except Anaconda, whose page gives a 120 cm minimum and whose rules chart gives the small slide no height minimum.
- 8 attractions are open to children under 120 cm, which are those same attractions.
- 17 attractions are open at 120 cm: those above plus Kukulcàn, Hurakán, Banzai, Tsunami, Tukakame, King Cobra, Báalam, Chihuan and Hatsa-ha, plus Anaconda's big slide.
Weight limits are also published on the attraction pages. Báalam, Anaconda and Crazy Race list a maximum of 100 kg on their pages (the rules chart lists 120 kg for these three, and the stricter figure is used here); Hurakán, Banzai, Chihuan and the single float on Tsunami, Tukakame, King Cobra, Hatsa-ha and Lakchaac list 120 kg. Double floats are listed at 180 kg in total, Kukulcàn's triple float at 180 kg for 2 people or 270 kg for 3 people (the rules chart says 170 kg), and the Misol-ha raft at 360 kg (the rules chart says 240 kg); those are group totals rather than a weight per rider.
The Kukulcàn and Hurakán pages show their 120 cm figure as a "1,20 M." tile without the word "minimum", while the other slides label it "altura requerida: mín. 1,20 m". The tile uses the operator's "Altura mínima" icon, the same image as on the labelled slides, so it is stored as a 120 cm minimum for both.
Height Categories Explained
No Height Restriction (8 Attractions)
Crazy Race is a three-lane racing slide with a 100 kg maximum weight, ridden free body. Misol-ha is the family raft slide, with a 360 kg limit for the raft. Surf Beach is the wave pool, Lakchaac is a 200 m lazy river with single and double floats, and Dragoland, MiniPark and Polynesia are the water areas in Kidzworld, the children's zone. The attraction pages list all of them as "sin restricción de altura". The park's rules chart gives Dragoland, MiniPark and Polynesia a maximum height of 1,2 m (120 cm), so they are closed to anyone taller. The rules chart splits Anaconda into a big slide (minimum 1,2 m) and a small slide with no height minimum, while its ride page describes one slide with a 120 cm minimum; Anaconda is counted here at the lowest accessible height, the small slide.
120 to 129 cm
Kukulcàn is a triple-float slide, 17.60 m high. Hurakán is a single-float slide, 24.14 m high. Banzai is a board slide. Tsunami is a half-pipe slide for one or two on a float. Tukakame, King Cobra and Hatsa-ha are float or boat slides, and Báalam, Chihuan and the big Anaconda slide are ridden free body. All of them need 120 cm. Báalam and Anaconda list a 100 kg maximum weight, Kukulcàn lists the float totals given above, Banzai and Chihuan list 120 kg per rider, and Hurakán, Tsunami, Tukakame, King Cobra and Hatsa-ha list 120 kg on a single float.
