Aquopolis Torrevieja is a water park on the north side of Torrevieja, on the Costa Blanca, and belongs to the Parques Reunidos group. This guide covers its 18 attractions, with the height, weight and age rule the operator publishes for each. The operator sorts them into high-thrill slides, moderate slides and pools, and children's areas.
Height Restrictions Overview
Aquopolis Torrevieja shows a minimum height and a maximum weight on each attraction's own page, and its height guide page filters the same data. The operator also publishes an accessibility guide with its own height and age rules. Things to know before you go:
- The children's areas, Charmed Lake and Mini Park, show a height on their pages under "Altura mínima" (120 cm and 140 cm). The accessibility guide words the areas as "under 1.20 m" and "under 1.40 m", and the page text describes them as children's areas, so the figures are shown as height ceilings of 120 cm and 140 cm.
- Black Hole and Rapids let children from 90 cm ride with an adult and from 120 cm ride alone.
- Several pools and the lazy river list the minimum height as "N/A", but children under 8 or under 120 cm must be with an adult. They are shown as open to any height with an adult and to riders of 120 cm and over alone.
- Entry to the park is also priced by height: adults from 140 cm, a reduced ticket from 100 to 140 cm, and free under 100 cm.
- 9 attractions can be entered at any height, with an adult for children under 120 cm at every one except Mini Zig Zag: Amazonia River, Cascada, Blue Lagoon, Waves Beach, Jacuzzi and Polinesia, where the operator lists the minimum height as "N/A", plus the children's areas Charmed Lake and Mini Park. At Mini Zig Zag, also listed as "N/A", children can go alone if they can swim.
- 11 attractions are open to a child of 99 cm: those nine, with an adult as described above, plus Black Hole and Rapids with an adult from 90 cm.
- 12 attractions are open to a child of 119 cm, adding Hydro Racer from 105 cm.
- At 120 cm, Boomerang, Speed Race, Tirolina and Zig Zag open, and Black Hole and Rapids can be ridden without an adult. Charmed Lake is open only up to 120 cm.
- Kamikaze and Speed have a 140 cm minimum height. Mini Park is open only up to 140 cm.
Weight limits are listed on the attraction pages: 100 kg at Speed Race, 105 kg at Boomerang, 110 kg at Kamikaze, Speed and Zig Zag, 115 kg at Black Hole, 125 kg at Hydro Racer and 150 kg at Rapids. The park's general rules also require children under 14 to enter with an adult.
Height Categories Explained
No Height Restriction (9 Attractions)
Amazonia River is a 180 m lazy river, Cascada is a relaxation area, Blue Lagoon is a large tropical pool, Mini Zig Zag has small slides for young children, Waves Beach is the wave pool, Jacuzzi is a hydromassage pool and Polinesia is a relaxation pool with massage jets. The operator lists the minimum height of each as "N/A". For all but Mini Zig Zag it also says children under 8, or under 120 cm, must be with an adult: at all times at Amazonia River, Waves Beach and Jacuzzi (at Waves Beach with a life jacket too), and without the "at all times" wording at Blue Lagoon. At Cascada and Polinesia the operator's accessibility guide says children must always be with an adult. They are shown as open to any height with an adult and to riders of 120 cm and over alone. At Mini Zig Zag, children can go alone if they can swim, or with an adult.
Charmed Lake (a lake for ages 0 to 8, where children must always be with an adult) and Mini Park (a 550 m² water play area with an 8 m water castle) are for smaller children. Their ride pages show 120 cm and 140 cm as minimum heights, but the accessibility guide words them as "under 1.20 m" and "under 1.40 m", so they are shown as ceilings of 120 cm and 140 cm. Children under 120 cm must be with an adult at Mini Park, so it is shown as any height with an adult and 120 cm alone.
90 to 99 cm
Black Hole, the slide taken in the dark, and Rapids, the wide slide on a large float, accept riders from 90 cm if they go with an adult. From 120 cm they can ride alone. Black Hole lists a 115 kg weight limit on a single float, or 200 kg together on a double float. Rapids lists 150 kg on a single float and 150 kg in total on a double float.
100 to 109 cm
Hydro Racer has four racing slides ridden on a mat, with a minimum height of 105 cm and a 125 kg weight limit.
120 to 129 cm
Boomerang, the V-shaped slide, Speed Race, the wide padded slide, Zig Zag, the group of twisting slides, and Tirolina, the zip line over the lagoon, all list a 120 cm minimum height. Speed Race lists 100 kg and Zig Zag 110 kg as maximum weight. The Boomerang tile lists 110 kg but its text says 105 kg, and the stricter 105 kg is shown. The operator's accessibility guide also lets riders from 100 to 120 cm go on Speed Race with an adult, but the ride page lists only 120 cm, so that is the figure used here. Tirolina requires riders to be able to swim.
140 cm and Over
Kamikaze, the 50 m slide with a 45º slope, and Speed, the free-fall slide, both list a 140 cm minimum height and a 110 kg weight limit. Both are ridden without a float.

Children under 100 cm enter free. Final Thoughts
For families at Aquopolis Torrevieja, the useful numbers are 90 cm with an adult for Black Hole and Rapids, 105 cm for Hydro Racer, 120 cm for Boomerang, Speed Race, Tirolina and Zig Zag, and 140 cm for Kamikaze and Speed. The pools and the lazy river admit any height with an adult and children of 120 cm and over alone, and Charmed Lake and Mini Park are children's areas where young children need an adult. The operator publishes weight limits for its slides, so confirm the figures on the signs before you queue.
