Water World is a water park in Lloret de Mar, on the Costa Brava. This guide covers its 24 attractions, with the minimum height the operator publishes for each. The operator sorts them into daring, family, children's and pool attractions.
Height Restrictions Overview
Water World shows a minimum height on each attraction's own page, and a separate rules page repeats it for the slides. For every slide that appears on both, the two agree. Its FAQ sums the range up: attractions for the youngest children, attractions from 80 cm, and attractions for 1.20 m and over.
- 10 attractions can be entered at any height: the wave pool and the other pools, the children's areas, Baby River and Fun River. The operator lists them as open to all heights or, for Pirate Ship and Kids Water World, as for the youngest children.
- 14 attractions are open from 80 cm: Rafting River, Racing Slides, Nauyaca and Wild River, plus the attractions with no minimum.
- 16 attractions are open to children under 120 cm. X-trem Mountain and Water Mountain need 1.08 m.
- 24 attractions are open to a child of 120 cm, adding Tornado King, Hurricanes, Speed Slides, Kamikaze, Storm, Python, Mamba and Speed Furious.
- Tornado Land is listed at all heights. The rules page says its slides are intended for children up to 150 cm.
Tornado King has the only per-rider weight limit the operator sets: 114 kg per person and 365 kg for a whole boat. Several other slides carry an advisory of 110 kg, which the operator words as not recommended rather than as a ban, so it is not shown as a limit here.
Height Categories Explained
No Height Restriction (10 Attractions)
The wave pool, The Bay, The Calm and Family Lagoon are pools, and the operator lists them as open to all heights. Kiddie Island, Baby River and Fun River are listed the same way. Tornado Land is also listed at all heights, but the rules page says its slides are intended for children up to 150 cm. The ride page says children can go alone on single floats or with an adult on a double float. Pirate Ship and Kids Water World show no number and are described as for the youngest children. In the children's areas the rules page allows adults only to look after children.
Under 90 cm
Rafting River, Racing Slides and Wild River list 0.80 m as the minimum height, and the rules page gives Nauyaca the same 80 cm. Rafting River is the family rapids ride with light and music, Racing Slides are four gentle slides, Wild River is a winding river slide, and Nauyaca is the slide the operator calls its calmest. Children may not use floats on Wild River.
100 to 109 cm
X-trem Mountain and Water Mountain are water coasters with a 250 m course, ridden in a two-seat boat. Both list 1.08 m on the ride page and on the rules page.
120 to 129 cm
Tornado King, Hurricanes, Speed Slides, Kamikaze, Storm, Python, Mamba and Speed Furious are all listed at 1.20 m. Storm is open only to people who can swim, and the rules page says it is not advisable for people over 50. Tornado King has the weight limit described above, and its boats need at least two riders.
Tips for Visiting with Different Heights
- Under 80 cm: 10 attractions are open: the pools, the children's areas, Baby River and Fun River, and Tornado Land. Entry to the park is free for this height.
- 80 to 107 cm: 14 attractions are open in total, adding Rafting River, Racing Slides, Nauyaca and Wild River.
- 108 to 119 cm: 16 attractions are open in total, adding X-trem Mountain and Water Mountain.
- 120 cm and over: all 24 attractions are open, adding Tornado King, Hurricanes, Speed Slides, Kamikaze, Storm, Python, Mamba and Speed Furious.
Under-14s must enter the park with an adult. The FAQ says most attractions can be used by people who cannot swim, taking into account each attraction's depth and rules: armbands and life jackets are allowed, ring floats are not. The wave pool, The Bay and Family Lagoon are described as suitable for good swimmers. Check the weight limit for Tornado King, and the swimming requirement for Storm, before you queue.

Final Thoughts
For families at Water World, the useful numbers are 80 cm for Rafting River, Racing Slides, Nauyaca and Wild River, 1.08 m for X-trem Mountain and Water Mountain, and 1.20 m for Tornado King and the rest of the faster slides. The pools and children's areas need no minimum height. The operator's rules page also lists the weight limit for Tornado King and a 110 kg advisory on several slides, so confirm the figures on the signs before you queue.
